Air Jordan 5 (V)

The Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan yet again failed to beat the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference semi-finals. They lost the seven game series 4-2. It was again a hard fought battle where Michael Jordan suffered many different injuries throughout the course of the series, some being minor - others not so minor.
Looking back at the series, Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen learned how to co-exist in this series and compliment each other’s game. Scottie Pippen was obviously in the shadow of Michael Jordan, but once these two hall of famers learned how to get the most out of each other’s game on a consistent basis, they became unstoppable. This was first displayed in Game 3 in Chicago when Michael Jordan scored 47 points and 10 boards while Scottie Pippen had 29 points and 11 boards.
Yet again Michael Jordan had many memorable times while wearing the Air Jordan 5’s, notably his matchups against Magic Johnson during the regular season. During the 89-90 season Michael Jordan remembers that his friendship with Magic Johnson became stronger in the fact that they hung out away from the court and Magic Johnson helped Jordan grow into a better Basketball player and role model, something he would need in the upcoming years.
