Jordan Shoes - Air Jordans - Michael Jordan Shoes

Air Jordan 10 (X)

1995 - Air Jordan 10 (X) - Something about Michael Jordan retiring during his prime was too weird to be true, and thank God, Michael Jordan agreed to come back to the game after a 21 month stint playing for the Chicago White Sox farm league team. Jordan explained that part of his reason for coming back was seeing the New York Knicks play a tough physical game against his Chicago Bulls and not being there to help them out. Michael Jordan equated this to the neighborhood bully picking on your little brother while you weren’t around.

The Air Jordan X 10’s feature 10 accomplishments inscribed in the sole of the shoe as follows:

86 63 POINTS
87 SCORING TITLE
88 DUNK CHAMP
89 ALL DEFENSE
90 SCORES 63 POINTS
91 MVP/CHAMPIONSHIP
92 MVP/CHAMPIONSHIP
93 MVP/CHAMPIONSHIP
94 BEYOND

Although Michael Jordan ended up having the ball picked from him by Nick Anderson of the Orlando Magic in the playoffs and the season ended short, most people were just happy to see Michael Jordan back and playing the game. During the off-season, Michael Jordan really started working out and pushing lots of weights.

There’s also a great clip of Scottie Pippen wearing these shoes while sitting on the All Star Game bench and Michael Jordan hits an amazing shot, or dunks the ball and then as the camera focuses in on the bench’s reaction, Scottie Pippen lights up his shoe and faces the sole at the camera and points to it. Michael Jordan’s 10 accomplishments and the Jumpman in clear sight. Classic.
